Bike Science

Bike Science offers accurate and professional bike fitting services for riders wishing to optimise their riding position to increase performance, avoid injury and improve comfort. The Retul System we use is a portable, 3D motion capture technology that uses infra-red light emitting diodes (LEDs) to track very accurate movements of a rider on a bike. This allows our specialist fitters to accurately capture 3D pedal stroke data and optimize the riders position. The (re)‘tool' is accurate to within one millimetre and has been used to great effect by Triathletes (Craig Alexander, Normann Stadler, Tim Deboom, Joanna Zeiger, Samantha McGlone, Lisa Bentley, Hunter Kemper, Andy Potts, USAT and Team Trek/KSwiss) and professional road cycling teams alike (Columbia-HTC, Garmin Transitions, Lance Armstrong and Team Radioshack, and Team Sky).

Club members will receive a 15% discount on fittings carried out at our Derby fit studio, where you'll also receive the same discount when booking your bike in for a service with our CyTech qualified mechanic.
